Since established by Vietnam Northern Food 1 Corporation under the Decision No 241/QĐ-TCTLTMB-TCLĐ dated 04/12/2009 and issued The Registration No. 5116000055 by Department of Planning & Investment of Dong Thap Province on 10/12/2009,  Dong Thap Branch - Vinafood1 (Vietnam rice mill) has operated the largest rice mill factory not only in corporation but also in Vietnam with huge production and storage capability

Production Main Plant: The main plant was set up on the area of 15.120m2, with over 60,000 metric tons finished product storage capacity, and assembled 02 modern and automatically international standard production lines reaching the volume up to 50 metric tons of milled rice per hours (700  metric tons per day estimated) – Tested by LouisDereyfus Commodities Pte Ltd 2009. Vertical Water Polishers that increase the rice kernel's shine and improves color by reducing thermal stress. The latest in Color Sorting Technology to pneumatically remove any damaged kernels. Factory's sorters employ the fastest firing ejectors on the market today to exercise precise removal. The latest in packaging equipment and automation to supply customers the rice they need in a timely manner. Bran Drying Plant: close to 2.000 m2 and included synchronous and high effective bran drying system and 6.000 metric ton warehouse. Secondary Warehouse was built 1.728m2 that might contain over 5.000 metric tons of agricultural products. The cutting edge milling technology and our convenient location are matched only by our skillful, active and creative staffs, who also proudly boast many years of rice milling experience. Moreover, they are still kept training to update new innovations and knowledge in order to improve our working efficiency and product quality. Besides, thanks for location at the center of Mekong river delta, in the heart of rice country, Dong Thap Branch (Vietnam rice mill ) achieves many of advantages in supplying resources which providing over 20 million tons of high quality rice material, therefore, allowed to earn the high variety of the branch’s products and huge input year around. From the field, paddy ferry can easily and directly approach to the production chain. At the same time, cause of its unique location, our products easily access to any major sea port in South Vietnam by both national road and river within 24 hours. Consequently, every shipment shall be secured from overdue delivery. Quality management Despite our newly establish, we've never lost track of the quality management and the responsive customer service philosophy on which we were founded-and which has kept our customers coming back. Therefore, The Food Safety Management System of our factory has been found and assessed to be in conformance with the requirements set forth by ISO22000:2005 for the rice manufacturing, processing and trading. That specifies requirements where we needs to stick to control food safety hazards in order to ensure that food is safe at the time of human consumption. Moreover, we evaluate and assess customer requirements and demonstrate conformity with those mutually agreed customer requirements that relate to food safety, in order to enhance customer satisfaction.
